General Rules for Children

We begin teaching the children the following basic rules at a very young age. These rules apply to even the littlest cub at our Center and they become the building blocks of self-control, self-direction, self-esteem and cooperation that blossom as each child advances from habitat to habitat.

1. I will keep my hands and feet to myself.
2. I will say kind words.
3. I will use good manners.
4. I will walk, not run, when in the Center.
5. I will use an “inside voice” while in the Center.
6. I will listen to my teacher.

We must have your support regarding disciplinary measures. These rules have been established to ensure a safe and positive environment for all children in our care. We encourage you to go over the rules of the Center with your child so they become familiar.
